Bloodmasters is a top-down shooter centered on multi-player games. In fact, Bloodmasters has no single player option, it is only designed to be played on LAN or over the Internet. There are several gameplay modes, such as Death-match, Team Death-Match, Capture The Flag and Scavenger. The game is played in a top-down view, your character moves with 4 keyboard keys and you point the direction with the mouse. You have a laser sight to help you aim against other enemies. The game is simple to control and packs a lot of fun. There is a good amount of weapons with their powers, and there are also power ups on the level as well. It has a Quake-ish feeling sometimes, only that it is not an FPS. The game is free and it is excellent to play a quick match without waiting too much while the game loads. The other good thing is that the source code is available to anyone willing to make any modifications. There are now a few servers on the Internet to play the game; however, CodeImp organizes tournaments from time to time. It is a fun game that does entertain you a lot.
